1968 Shelby GT500KR 428 SCJ Factory Paxton Supercharger

This is the only 1968 Paxton Supercharged Shelby. There are Shelby Engineering Documents of this car built with the Paxton Supercharger. It was the prototype engineering test car for 1968 Paxton Supercharged Shelbys. This is the only one built, as no other 68's were optioned with a Supercharger.

You will notice the Paxton Supercharger System is not currently on the car. A previous (3rd or 4th?) owner restored the car without knowing it was a Shelby Paxton Supercharged car at the time of restoration. The Shelby Engineering documents exist from Shelby showing this car as originally having a Paxton Supercharger. If you have the Shelby Registry book you will see this. A Paxton Supercharger set-up is soon to be re-installed on the car.
